The Athletic Style Choice Explained

We use your style choice to tailor your deliveries but appreciate there is only a small amount of information on the website explaining each style. Therefore, we have produced a series of articles that explains each one in turn.
This article focuses on what makes the Athletic style different to the others, and how you know if it is right for you. Generally, this option is for the golfer that likes to look after themselves, prefers a sportier look and likes the way golf fashion is going.
Colours
Generally, the athletic range includes black and whites with hints of colours that lead to a slick look. Think of the more athletic golfers on tour such as Rory McIlroy, Tiger Woods, Adam Scott, and Danny Willett. The aim here is to show off athletic physique with block colours, lines, and stripes.
Patterns
Patterns are minimal with the Athletic range. You can expect lining and emphasis on logos as the main styling points, leaving your figure to do the rest.
Designs
We push the boundaries a little bit with the Athletic style. Although we don’t opt for large patterns and bright colours, we do favour cut away collars and hoodies. We want you to be able to wear this clothing range both on the course and in the local bar or coffee shop afterwards. Brands really pushing these initiatives are Puma, Nike and Adidas.
The Future
We are seeing bigger patterns this year which reflects a shift in the industry as a whole. Therefore, your boxes will reflect this. Although you can still expect to receive sleek pieces, they may contain slightly bolder designs such as hints of cammo, or similar tone block colours.
So, we suggest going for this style if you like to look after yourself, you prefer sportier designs and you like the modern golf look. This is not for you if you prefer the traditional ways of golf.
