Airdropgolf Poker Chip Game
If you have been receiving chips in your box and wondered what they are for, then you are in the right place. We have created a game which you can play with your friends using our unique poker chip designs that will keep your round interesting right up until the final putt on the 18th.
As you receive your deliveries, you should start to get chips with a collection of good and bad actions on them. A good action might be to ‘1 Putt’, whereas the bad version of this would be a ‘3 Putt’. Gather the chips together, ensuring there is an equal number of good actions and bad actions and bring them to the golf course with you.
Among your friends, assign a value to each chip (we will explain what that value means shortly). This could be anything from a monetary value to a certain forfeit that needs to be completed if you are left with the chip at the end of the round.
One person starts with all the chips and is assigned the referee. This person will be responsible for handing them out as certain actions are realised. If you have a ‘1 putt’ chip in your deck for example, when a player 1 putts, they get given this chip. They hold the chip until the next player 1 putts and then it is transferred to them. This is the same for 3 putts, finding the bunker, hitting a tree or whatever else you have in your deck. These chips are passed on all the way through the round meaning the last person to perform each action will be left holding the chips. This could make for a very exciting 18th hole.
At the end of the round, count how many good action and bad action poker chips you are left with. The good action chips will take from the pot, whereas the bad action gives to it. So, if you have assigned a value of £5 to each chip, you will need to put £5 in the pot if you are left with the ‘3 putt chip’. If you are left with the ‘1 putt chip’ you can take £5 out of the pot.
This game is exciting and really ramps up the pressure in the final stages of your round. A terrible final hole could change everything. It is a lot of fun throwing the chips between each other and adds a new element to your round which you may not have had before.
